<h3 class="wp-block-heading">How Should You Prepare?</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you are planning to be among the first in the ecosystem to earn these badges, here’s what you should do right now:</p>

<ol start="1" class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Review the Exam Guides:</strong> Read through the <a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=005387158&amp;type=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tableau Next</a> and <a href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=005387657&amp;type=1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Marketing Cloud Next</a> guides to evaluate where your knowledge currently stands.</li>

<li><strong>Set a Date:</strong> Once registration goes live this Friday, schedule your exam to give yourself a clear, focused target.</li>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Key Milestone Dates for Winter ’27</h3>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><thead><tr><td><strong>Date</strong></td><td><strong>Milestone</strong></td><td><strong>What You Need to Do</strong></td></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>August 13</strong></td><td><strong>Pre-Release &amp; Partner Orgs</strong></td><td>Spin up a pre-release org to get hands-on and explore new features early.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>August 19</strong></td><td><strong>Release Notes Live</strong></td><td>Skim through high-impact changes, security policies, and default-enabled updates.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>August 27</strong></td><td><strong>Sandbox Cutoff (6 PM PT)</strong></td><td>Refresh sandboxes you want on the preview window before the deadline hits.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>August 28</strong></td><td><strong>Sandbox Preview Window Starts</strong></td><td>Preview pods upgrade to Winter ’27 so you can start regression testing.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>September 4</strong></td><td><strong>Release Overview Deck &amp; Modules</strong></td><td>Review cloud overviews and knock out the new release module on Trailhead.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>September 4</strong></td><td><strong>Production Upgrade: Weekend 1</strong></td><td>The first wave of production instances gets upgraded.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>October 2</strong></td><td><strong>Production Upgrade: Weekend 2</strong></td><td>The second wave of production orgs moves to Winter ’27.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>October 9</strong></td><td><strong>Production Upgrade: Weekend 3</strong></td><td>Final production instance rollouts go live across remaining regions.</td></tr><tr><td><strong>October 10</strong></td><td><strong>Release Readiness Live (Salesforce+)</strong></td><td>Catch deep-dive Q&amp;As and roadmap discussions with product managers.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Making Sense of the Sandbox Cutoff (August 27)</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Every release cycle, sandbox routing catches a few teams off guard. Where your sandbox sits on <strong>August 27 at 6:00 PM PT</strong> determines its release version:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Want to test Winter ’27 early?</strong> Ensure your sandbox is on a <strong>Preview instance</strong>. If it is currently on a non-preview pod, trigger a sandbox refresh before the cutoff to route it to a preview server.</li>

<li><strong>Need your sandbox to stay on Summer ’26?</strong> If you have an active project deployment that must match production exactly, keep it on a <strong>Non-Preview instance</strong> and avoid refreshing it during the preview window.</li>

<li><strong>Unsure which pod you’re on?</strong> Enter your sandbox Org ID at <code>sandboxpreview.com</code> or check your instance pod on <code>status.salesforce.com</code> to see its designated upgrade path.</li>
</ul>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Release Readiness: A Quick Checklist</h3>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Test Core Flows and Custom Triggers:</strong> As soon as preview sandboxes update on August 28, run a regression sweep across business-critical Flow logic, integrations, and Apex triggers.</li>

<li><strong>Check the Auto-Enabled Changes:</strong> Filter the release notes on August 19 for features enabled for all users by default, especially UI tweaks or updated permission enforcement.</li>

<li><strong>Maintain Your Certifications:</strong> Salesforce requires one annual maintenance module per year across your active credentials, so grab the new release badge once it drops on Trailhead.</li>

<div class="kksr-legend" style="font-size: 19.2px;">
            5/5 - (1 vote)    </div>
    </div>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you have been part of the Salesforce ecosystem for a while, you’ve likely seen this specific Idea on the <a target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://ideas.salesforce.com/s/idea/a0B8W00000GdfnE/increase-name-field-length-from-80-to-255">Salesforce IdeaExchange</a> at some point. For over a decade, the request to increase the standard Name field length from 80 to 255 characters has been one of the most-voted and highly discussed topics in our community.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We finally have a definitive answer from Salesforce, and while it might not be the news many were hoping for, it brings much-needed clarity.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">The Update</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Salesforce has officially closed this idea. After conducting a deep technical review, the platform team concluded that increasing the field length is not feasible.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It’s easy to look at a field length limit and think, &#8220;How hard can it be to just change a number in the database?&#8221; However, as Salesforce explained, this isn&#8217;t a simple configuration change. The Name field is baked into the foundational infrastructure shared by every custom object, in every org, across the entire platform.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Expanding this field would require a massive, platform-wide data migration. Given the immense risk of disruption to existing data and the complexity involved, Salesforce has determined that this change cannot be made responsibly. They’ve chosen to prioritize platform stability over this specific enhancement.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" width="640" height="640" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/image.png?resize=640%2C640&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-3844" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/image.png?w=875&amp;ssl=1 875w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/image.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/image.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/image.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></figure>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Why This Matters (And Why We Respect the Decision)</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">While this is disappointing, there is a silver lining in how Salesforce handled it. For years, this idea sat as a &#8220;placeholder.&#8221; By choosing to close it, they are being transparent about what is technically possible versus what is a platform-wide risk. As admins and developers, we value stability above almost anything else—and a change that could potentially corrupt data across the entire ecosystem is something we all want to avoid.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">So, What Now?</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you are currently hitting that 80-character wall and need more space, you aren&#8217;t completely out of luck. Salesforce has provided a <a target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000386718&amp;type=1">supported workaround</a> for those who need to store longer names.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>The Strategy:</strong></p>

<ol start="1" class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Switch to Auto-Number:</strong> Convert your standard Name field to an Auto-Number format.</li>

<li><strong>Use a Custom Text Field:</strong> Create a new custom text field (up to 255 characters) to store your full name value.</li>
</ol>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>A Note of Caution:</strong> Before you jump into this, please keep in mind that this workaround does change how your objects behave—specifically regarding lookups and search functionality.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Pro-tip:</strong> Don&#8217;t do this in production! Spin up a sandbox, map out your existing integrations, test how your search views look, and ensure your reports don’t break.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Let’s Keep the Conversation Going</h4>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It’s never fun to see a highly-requested feature get shelved, but having a clear answer allows us to stop waiting and start building differently.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hello Trailblazers!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Salesforce ecosystem moves fast, and staying ahead means keeping our skills aligned with where the technology—and the market—is heading. Recently, Salesforce announced major updates to its credentialing roadmap, including retirement plans for several exams and updates to existing certifications to better align with current branding, like the incorporation of <strong>Agentforce</strong>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Whether you are a seasoned CTA, an aspiring Architect, or just starting your Salesforce journey, here is everything you need to know about these changes, why they matter, and how to plan your certification strategy for the months ahead.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Why Are These Changes Happening?</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Salesforce is reshaping the credential program to ensure our hard work carries maximum impact. The decision to retire and rename certain exams boils down to three main goals:</p>

<ol start="1" class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Maximizing Certification Value:</strong> Aligning credentials directly with the precise skills, expertise, and roles that hiring managers are actively looking for in today&#8217;s market.</li>

<li><strong>Staying Current with the Product Landscape:</strong> As AI, data strategies, and platforms evolve, the credential program needs to mirror the tools and features professionals use on a daily basis.</li>

<li><strong>Focusing on High-Impact Skills:</strong> By trimming older or overlapping paths, Salesforce is doubling down on building certifications around the latest job roles, products, and features—giving you the most relevant, in-demand credentials available today.</li>
</ol>

</div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Key Dates to Mark in Your Calendar</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you are currently studying or planning your next certification goals, keep a close eye on these dates (<strong>all set to 12:00 a.m. UTC</strong>):</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Friday, July 24, 2026:</strong>
<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>The <strong>last day to register</strong> for any of the retiring exams.</li>

<li>The official <strong>go-live date</strong> for all 16 renamed certifications.</li>
</ul>
</li>

<li><strong>Tuesday, August 31, 2026:</strong> The <strong>final day to sit and take</strong> any of the retiring exams.</li>

<li><strong>February 1, 2027:</strong> The <strong>official retirement date</strong> for all impacted certifications.</li>
</ul>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Complete List of 24 Retiring Certifications</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>(Official Retirement Date: February 1, 2027)</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The retirements cover a significant cleanup of aging product lines (like legacy CPQ and older Marketing Cloud architectures) and a heavy trimming of the partner-focused Accredited Professional (AP) catalog.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Complete List of 16 Renamed Certifications</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>(Taking Effect: July 24, 2026)</em></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">These changes are structural and cosmetic. The core exam content and your existing credentials remain fully valid, but the nomenclature is shifting rapidly away from &#8220;Clouds&#8221; and pivoting directly toward <strong>Agentforce</strong> branding.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><em>(Note: As a quick architecture reminder when building out your roadmap, Agentforce extensions refer specifically to the installable, custom partner and builder solutions available via the AppExchange).</em></p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">What This Means For You &amp; Next Steps</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>1. If you already hold a retiring certification:</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Don&#8217;t worry—your hard work still counts. Your certification will remain fully valid through the official retirement date of February 1, 2027, and you will not have any maintenance requirements for it in the meantime. Even after retirement, these credentials will remain visible on your Trailblazer profile as an important part of your professional history.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>2. If you are currently studying for a retiring certification:</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You need to move quickly but deliberately. Ensure you are <strong>registered by July 24, 2026</strong>, and schedule your exam attempt <strong>on or before August 31, 2026</strong>. Evaluate whether the credential aligns with your long-term goals or if your time might be better spent focusing on the newer, refreshed learning paths (like the core platform replacements for NPSP or Revenue Cloud alternatives).</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>3. If you hold a certification that is being renamed:</strong></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">No action is required on your part! The certification title on your Trailblazer profile will automatically update on <strong>July 24, 2026</strong>. The biggest task here is tactical: make sure to update your LinkedIn profile, resumes, and email signatures once the switch happens so you stay easily searchable to recruiters looking for the modern Agentforce terminology. If you want a fresh copy of your certificate with the updated branding to display, you can request a new one via Trailhead Academy.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Final Thoughts: Share Knowledge, Keep Growing</h3>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">An evolving ecosystem means endless opportunities to learn, grow, and inspire others to join the community. While certification shifts can require a quick pivot in our study plans, they ultimately ensure that the badges we display on our profiles carry real weight with clients and employers.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you have been using Agentforce Vibes because it was free, there is an important deadline approaching: from June 1, 2026, agentic chat will require Flex Credits or a paid user license in most orgs.<a href="https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/einstein-for-devs/guide/billingnew.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a><br>Salesforce positions the change as a move to support enterprise-scale development and higher quality models, which makes business sense, but it also changes the adoption story for developers who were still experimenting. <a href="https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/einstein-for-devs/guide/billingnew.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="what-is-changing">What is changing</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" width="428" height="949" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-6.png?resize=428%2C949&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-3819" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-6.png?w=428&amp;ssl=1 428w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-6.png?resize=135%2C300&amp;ssl=1 135w" sizes="(max-width: 428px) 100vw, 428px" /></figure>
</div>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Salesforce&#8217;s developer documentation states that free access to Agentforce Vibes agentic chat will be discontinued soon, with paid access required from June 1, 2026, except for limited lifetime access in Developer Edition orgs.<br>Inline autocomplete is not the same thing: Salesforce says autocomplete remains available with separate daily limits, so the main shift is around chat and agentic workflows rather than every AI feature in the IDE.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="why-this-matters">Why this matters</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For teams already using Flex Credits, this may be a manageable billing transition.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/einstein-for-devs/guide/billingnew.html"></a><br>For individual developers and smaller teams, the bigger question is whether Agentforce Vibes is compelling enough as a paid tool when Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot are already established and widely trusted in day-to-day development workflows.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="how-it-compares">How it compares</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table class="has-fixed-layout"><thead><tr><th class="has-text-align-left" data-align="left">Tool</th><th class="has-text-align-left" data-align="left">Best fit</th><th class="has-text-align-right" data-align="right">Pricing entry point</th><th class="has-text-align-left" data-align="left">Notable angle</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Agentforce Vibes</td><td>Salesforce-first development</td><td class="has-text-align-right" data-align="right">Flex Credits or paid license after June 1, 2026.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/einstein-for-devs/guide/billingnew.html"></a></td><td>Native Salesforce context, org-aware workflows.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/einstein-for-devs/guide/billingnew.html"></a></td></tr><tr><td>Cursor</td><td>General app and full-codebase development</td><td class="has-text-align-right" data-align="right">Pro starts at $20/month according to third-party 2026 pricing coverage.</td><td>Mature AI IDE experience and strong developer adoption.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://till-freitag.com/blog/vibe-coding-tools-comparison"></a></td></tr><tr><td>Claude Code</td><td>Terminal-heavy, agentic coding workflows</td><td class="has-text-align-right" data-align="right">Pro starts at $20/month according to 2026 alternatives coverage.</td><td>Strong for multi-file and CLI-driven workflows.</td></tr><tr><td>GitHub Copilot</td><td>Mainstream IDE assistance across teams</td><td class="has-text-align-right" data-align="right">Free tier available, Pro at $10/month, Pro+ at $39/month, Business at $19/user/month, Enterprise at $39/user/month.</td><td>Broad IDE coverage plus Ask, Edit, Agent, and Plan modes in Copilot Chat.</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The real challenge for Agentforce Vibes is not whether paid access is reasonable; it is whether the paid value is differentiated enough from tools that already feel native in broader software engineering workflows.<br>If Salesforce can make Vibes materially better for Apex, metadata changes, org-aware refactoring, and platform-specific generation, it has a clear case.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/einstein-for-devs/guide/billingnew.html"></a><br>If not, many developers may prefer to pay for a general-purpose tool and use it across every stack they touch.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="free-and-paid-alternatives">Free and paid alternatives</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If the goal is to stay free, the clearest option is to keep using the limited Developer Edition access that Salesforce says will remain available for Agentforce Vibes.<br>If the goal is the best paid general-purpose option, GitHub Copilot offers the lowest official entry price, while Cursor and Claude Code are stronger candidates for developers who want deeper agentic or codebase-wide workflows.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="final-take">Final take</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This move is not surprising because free tiers are usually designed to drive adoption rather than remain unlimited forever.<br>What makes it interesting is the timing: Salesforce is asking developers to pay at a moment when AI coding competition is stronger, cheaper, and more familiar than ever.<br>For Agentforce Vibes to win, it will need to feel meaningfully better for Salesforce work, not just good enough.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hey folks, I just wrapped up a deep virtual dive into TrailblazerDX (TDX) 2026, Salesforce&#8217;s powerhouse developer event. Simplifying the buzz for our global community: it&#8217;s practical AI agent tools to accelerate your builds in SF Clouds, and more—no fluff, just actionable wins. Here&#8217;s what grabbed me from keynotes and sessions.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="the-agentic-shift-build-smarter-not-harder">The Agentic Shift: Build Smarter, Not Harder</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default">

</div>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Salesforce is ushering in the &#8220;Agentic Enterprise,&#8221; where AI agents mix code with probabilistic power. Agentforce 2.0 flips effort: 20% on MVP, 80% on testing/governance—ideal for busy teams. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Enter Agent Script: open-source on GitHub, injecting deterministic logic into agents for reliable enterprise apps. Tames LLM unpredictability in complex workflows like payments or custom CRMs.</p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading" id="for-admins-setup-that-doesnt-make-you-cry">For Admins: Setup That Doesn&#8217;t Make You Cry</h1>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">1. Setup with Agentforce (Beta)</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Remember spending 20 minutes clicking through Setup just to create one permission set? Spring &#8217;26 introduces&nbsp;<strong>Setup with Agentforce</strong>—a conversational interface right on your Setup Home page. You can now literally chat with Salesforce to configure things:<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/"></a></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>&#8220;Create a permission set that lets users edit accounts but not delete them&#8221;<a href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>

<li>&#8220;Show me all users who haven&#8217;t logged in for 90 days&#8221;<a href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>
</ul>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">It&#8217;s like having a junior admin who actually knows where everything is buried in Setup.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/"></a></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" width="640" height="359" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-11.png?resize=640%2C359&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-3768" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-11.png?w=1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-11.png?resize=300%2C168&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-11.png?resize=768%2C431&amp;ssl=1 768w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2. Delete Salesforce Files Permission</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Finally, you can give someone permission to delete files&nbsp;<strong>without</strong>&nbsp;granting them the nuclear-level &#8220;Modify All Data&#8221; permission. This follows the principle of least privilege—you know, that security concept we all pretend to follow.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">3. My Trust Center (Renamed and Enhanced)</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What was trust.salesforce.com is now&nbsp;<strong>my.trust.salesforce.com</strong>, and it&#8217;s way more useful. You get:<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/"></a></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Up to one year of incident and maintenance history<a href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>

<li>Subscription notifications for events on your orgs<a href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>

<li>Org location and MyDomain info all in one place<a href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>
</ul>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">No more hunting through multiple tabs to figure out if that weird slowdown was &#8220;just you&#8221; or an actual incident.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Link:</strong>&nbsp;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://my.trust.salesforce.com/">Salesforce My Trust Center</a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">4. Custom Disclaimers on Exported Reports</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can now add custom disclaimers to exported reports—perfect for those compliance-heavy industries where every CSV needs a legal warning. Plus, when sharing report folders, usernames now display alongside names so you can tell the difference between the seventeen &#8220;John Smiths&#8221; in your org.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/"></a></p>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading" id="for-flow-builders-the-canvas-isnt-fighting-you-any">For Flow Builders: The Canvas Isn&#8217;t Fighting You Anymore</h1>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">5. Compare Screen Flow Versions</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is HUGE. You can now&nbsp;<strong>compare two versions of a screen flow</strong>&nbsp;side-by-side from the Automation app. Anyone who&#8217;s spent an hour clicking through a 50-element flow trying to figure out &#8220;what changed?&#8221; will appreciate this.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://dbservices.com/blog/salesforce-spring-26-highlights"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Hopefully Salesforce extends this to all flow types soon, because we need it everywhere.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" width="640" height="338" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-13.png?resize=640%2C338&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-3770" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-13.png?w=967&amp;ssl=1 967w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-13.png?resize=300%2C159&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-13.png?resize=768%2C406&amp;ssl=1 768w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">6. Native Canvas Scrolling</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can now&nbsp;<strong>scroll your Flow canvas without a Chrome extension</strong>. Yes, really. It only took until 2026.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/10-new-salesforce-flow-features-in-spring-26/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;re thinking &#8220;wait, we couldn&#8217;t scroll before?&#8221;—correct. You had to zoom out and pan around like you were navigating a treasure map.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/10-new-salesforce-flow-features-in-spring-26/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">7. Collapsible Decisions and Loops</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Complex flows can now collapse Decision and Loop elements to reduce visual clutter. It&#8217;s not going to magically fix your 200-element spaghetti flow, but at least you can hide some of the mess while you work.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/10-new-salesforce-flow-features-in-spring-26/"></a></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" width="615" height="432" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-14-edited.png?resize=615%2C432&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-3772" style="aspect-ratio:1.4235015127974486;width:840px;height:auto" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-14-edited.png?w=615&amp;ssl=1 615w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-14-edited.png?resize=300%2C211&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-14-edited.png?resize=340%2C240&amp;ssl=1 340w" sizes="(max-width: 615px) 100vw, 615px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">8. Kanban Component for Screen Flows (Beta)</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The new&nbsp;<strong>Kanban Board component</strong>&nbsp;lets you visualize records as cards across workflow stages—no custom Lightning development required. It&#8217;s read-only for now (users can&#8217;t drag cards between stages), but it&#8217;s perfect for showing pipeline stages, case progression, or project status.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://salesforcebreak.com/2025/12/16/top-spring-26-salesforce-flow-features/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Read more:</strong>&nbsp;<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://salesforcebreak.com/2025/12/16/top-spring-26-salesforce-flow-features/">Top Spring &#8217;26 Salesforce Flow Features</a><a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://salesforcebreak.com/2025/12/16/top-spring-26-salesforce-flow-features/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">9. Screen Styling and Component Colors</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can now customize&nbsp;<strong>screen background colors and individual component styling</strong>&nbsp;for Text, Number, Date, and Date/Time fields. Want your approval screen to look urgent with red accents? Go wild.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/10-new-salesforce-flow-features-in-spring-26/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Fair warning: this also means users can create truly hideous screens, so maybe establish some brand guidelines first.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/10-new-salesforce-flow-features-in-spring-26/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">10. Request Approval Component</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There&#8217;s a new&nbsp;<strong>Request Approval Lightning component</strong>&nbsp;for record pages that lets users submit approvals directly without navigating away. It works only with&nbsp;<strong>Flow-based approval processes</strong>&nbsp;(not legacy Approval Processes), which is Salesforce&#8217;s not-so-subtle nudge to finally migrate.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/top-11-salesforce-spring-26-features-for-admins/"></a></p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" decoding="async" width="640" height="239" src="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-15-edited.png?resize=640%2C239&#038;ssl=1" alt="" class="wp-image-3774" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-15-edited.png?w=1718&amp;ssl=1 1718w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-15-edited.png?resize=300%2C112&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-15-edited.png?resize=1024%2C382&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-15-edited.png?resize=768%2C287&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-15-edited.png?resize=1536%2C573&amp;ssl=1 1536w, https://i0.wp.com/www.mhamzas.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-15-edited.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></figure>

<h1 class="wp-block-heading" id="for-developers-smarter-tooling-fewer-headaches">For Developers: Smarter Tooling, Fewer Headaches</h1>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">11. Improved Diagnostics and Code Quality Signals</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Spring &#8217;26 continues the push for better observability with enhanced diagnostic tools for slow queries and inefficient SOQL. You also get stronger signals around test coverage&nbsp;<strong>quality</strong>&nbsp;(not just percentage) so you can spot tests that don&#8217;t actually test anything.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/9-features-for-salesforce-developers-in-the-spring-26-release/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">12. Lightning Web Component (LWC) Enhancements</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Developer experience improvements for LWC continue with better tooling, compatibility updates, and readiness for new UI paradigms. If you&#8217;re building custom components, check the release notes for the specific LWC updates relevant to your use cases.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.techforceservices.com/blog/salesforce-spring-26-release-guide/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">13. API and Visualforce Updates</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">There are important&nbsp;<strong>behavior changes</strong>&nbsp;in Spring &#8217;26:<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.techforceservices.com/blog/salesforce-spring-26-release-guide/"></a></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="how-to-prep-without-panicking">How to Prep Without Panicking</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Up until now, deploying AI agents felt like dropping your intern off in a new city with no phone and saying &#8220;good luck!&#8221; The new&nbsp;<strong>Command Center</strong>&nbsp;changes that with actual visibility into what your agents are doing:<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforce.com/au/news/press-releases/2025/06/23/agentforce-3-announcement/"></a></p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Real-time health monitoring</strong>&nbsp;that alerts you before your customers start rage-tweeting about bot failures<a href="https://www.salesforceben.com/salesforce-winter-26-release-everything-you-need-to-know-before-go%E2%80%91live/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Agentforce 3 comes with a souped-up&nbsp;<strong>Atlas architecture</strong>&nbsp;that cuts latency in half compared to early 2025. Response streaming is now GA, which means users see answers appear in real time instead of staring at loading spinners questioning their life choices.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforce.com/au/news/press-releases/2025/06/23/agentforce-3-announcement/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">For the compliance-obsessed (healthcare, finance, you know who you are):&nbsp;<strong>Claude Sonnet via Amazon Bedrock</strong>&nbsp;is now available inside the Salesforce trust boundary. <p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Winter &#8217;26</strong>&nbsp;already dropped&nbsp;<strong>Agentforce Grid</strong>&nbsp;(spreadsheet-style agent workflows),&nbsp;<strong>Clean Rooms in Data Cloud</strong>&nbsp;(privacy-safe collaboration), and a unified&nbsp;<strong>Agentforce Builder</strong>.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforce.com/news/stories/winter-2026-product-release-announcement/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="what-you-should-actually-do-about-this">What You Should Actually Do About This</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>For admins</strong>: Spin up a sandbox and play with Command Center. Learning to read agent performance data is becoming table-stakes, not a nice-to-have.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.sikich.com/insight/how-salesforce-agentforce-3-command-center-manages-ai-agents/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>For developers</strong>: Dig into MCP. The shift from &#8220;build APIs&#8221; to &#8220;build agent-ready resources&#8221; is happening whether you&#8217;re ready or not.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/salesforce-winter-26-release-everything-you-need-to-know-before-go%E2%80%91live/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>For architects</strong>: Start thinking about governance frameworks for multi-agent workflows. This isn&#8217;t theoretical anymore—customers are deploying at scale.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforce.com/au/news/press-releases/2025/06/23/agentforce-3-announcement/"></a></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="the-honest-take">The Honest Take</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Six months ago, Agentforce felt like vaporware with good demos. Command Center changes that—it&#8217;s the observability layer that makes production deployments actually defensible to your CFO.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.sikich.com/insight/how-salesforce-agentforce-3-command-center-manages-ai-agents/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With 200+ pre-built actions, flexible pricing, and 272,000 certified partners ready to help, the ecosystem matured fast. Is it perfect? No. Will it hallucinate occasionally? Probably. But it&#8217;s finally at the point where the ROI is measurable and the risk is manageable.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforceben.com/salesforce-winter-26-release-everything-you-need-to-know-before-go%E2%80%91live/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">If you&#8217;ve been waiting for AI agents to &#8220;get serious,&#8221; this is your signal. The tech isn&#8217;t coming—it&#8217;s already here, and your competitors are experimenting with it right now.<a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforce.com/au/news/press-releases/2025/06/23/agentforce-3-announcement/"></a></p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Recently, Salesforce launched the Free Suite, designed specifically for small businesses and startups. According to their Senior Sales Director, this perpetually free plan lets up to two users access essential sales, service, marketing, analytics features, email integration, and Slack—all integrated to kickstart business operations seamlessly. It’s Salesforce officially rolling out the welcome mat for newcomers and cash-conscious entrepreneurs</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Three Salesforce Flavors</h2>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><a href="http://Check out Discover Salesforce's Free CRM on @trailhead #Trailhead https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/salesforce-free-suite-quick-look/discover-salesforce-free-suite"><strong>Free Suite</strong></a><strong>:</strong><br>“No money? No problem!” This option is for the lone wolf or that team with as many members as a folk duo. Get your basics—contacts, leads, tasks, and Gmail integration. You even get step-by-step setup so you won’t end up shouting at your screen (we’ve all been there). And with 100 price book entries—if you need more than that, you probably need a bigger office.<a href="https://www.salesforce.com/en-us/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/documents/small-business/comparison-chart-starter-prosuite-features-us.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>

<li><strong>Starter Suite:</strong><br>For the business that’s outgrown the lemonade stand and needs proper sales tools. Unlimited users (add the whole family if you want, but maybe don’t), advanced marketing, and a storefront that makes your online shop look sharp. AI insights mean you finally have something clever to blame for your sales strategy. Plus, payment links and portals keep your customers happy—and your accountant less grumpy.<a href="https://www.salesforce.com/en-us/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/documents/small-business/comparison-chart-starter-prosuite-features-us.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>

<li><strong>Pro Suite:</strong><br>Got complexity? This suite brings out the full Salesforce toolbox—custom apps, objects, process automation, and integrations galore (Slack, AppExchange, and more). If you’re running support teams, want detailed reporting, or feel the strange need to “route cases via omni-channel,” Pro will make you look and feel like a Fortune 500 CTO. Unlimited users—because inviting more people always sounds like a good idea until you try coordinating a team lunch.<a href="https://www.salesforce.com/en-us/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/documents/small-business/comparison-chart-starter-prosuite-features-us.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></li>
</ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Which Edition Perfectly Matches Your Business Personality?</h2>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Go Free if:</strong><br>You’re curious, cautious, or just hate spending money. Teams of one or two find it refreshingly simple. The budget stays intact for coffee runs.</li>

<li><strong>Starter is perfect if:</strong><br>You want a CRM that grows as fast as your unread emails. Better marketing, more users, and e-commerce perks—think of it as the Swiss Army knife for sales.</li>

<li><strong>Pro?</strong><br>You’re deep in the business jungle. If your to-do list includes “custom automations, Slack chats, and world domination,” Pro’s your sidekick.</li>
</ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Final Word (and Reference)</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Salesforce isn’t just making CRM accessible—they’re actively inviting small businesses to join the party with the new Free Suite. For a full comparison and feature breakdown, check out the official Salesforce CRM Suites Comparison PDF:<br><a rel="noreferrer noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.salesforce.com/en-us/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/documents/small-business/comparison-chart-starter-prosuite-features-us.pdf">Salesforce CRM Suites Comparison Chart (PDF)</a>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">And if you were waiting for the signal to get started, consider this your “Welcome!”<a href="https://www.salesforce.com/en-us/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/documents/small-business/comparison-chart-starter-prosuite-features-us.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"></a></p>
